For over thirty (30) years, the LeFleur's Bluff Chapter of the Links, Inc. has provided meaningful service projects in the Jackson Metropolitan area. Our goal is to raise funds that will be used to support activities in the following areas: (1) Services to Youth, (2) The Arts, (3) Health and Human Services, (4) International Trends and Services, (5) National Trends and Services.
Over the last five years, the LeFleur's Bluff Chapter has contributed more than $50,000 to Jackson Public Schools as part of the "Just Raring to Read" literacy project; a scholarship endowed at Jackson State University to provide support to students who major in Education, and a recent initiative, "Save A Life", has trained more than 600 adults and students on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Additionally, we have provided free mammograms to young and high-risk women who have not had a mammogram for 18-24 months.
