Join the Mississippi State Department of Health and the Jackson Heart Study Community Engagement Center for a day soul-stirring, heart pumping, sure to get you on your feet Music for the Heart and Soul Health Symposium and Gospel Choir Competition on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Jackson Convention Complex from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This is a free event with the opportunity to receive health screenings beginning at 8:30 a.m., visit health vendors, hear from health experts, and listen to inspiring musical selections from Mississippi choirs as they compete for cash prizes.
You don’t have to register to participate in the health screenings, but you will need to be registered to attend the health talks and choir competition.
